Protect Health Care and Civil Rights for Kids with Complex Medical Needs & Disabilities

Medicaid is a lifeline for people with complex medical needs & disabilities, including kids. It covers things private insurance does not, like therapy, medical equipment, and care at home instead of institutions. The House GOP plan to severely cut Medicaid to pay for tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy is a serious threat to our families’ stability and our children’s ability to access the health care they need to survive and the home and community-based services and supports they need to thrive.
